What’s different about mugi?We’re 100% plant-based. We’re inspired by plant-based, artisanal foods. Traditional Thai cuisine is at the core of our menu, we also offer a variety of salads and cold-pressed juices, soups to follow in Fall 2019. We use authentic recipes and spice blends to make all our curry paste or nam prik in-house. We don’t use MSG, hydrolyzed proteins or glutamate flavouring for flavour enhancement. We substitute the fish sauce and shrimp paste used in most Thai cuisine with our own plant-based formulas, to create the umami factor in our dishesour kimchi, tempeh and pickled veg are made fresh, in-house
