Poor diets and lifestyle choices are the top causes of chronic health diseases including cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, hormonal disorders, skin disease, digestive problems, mental health issues, immune disorders and other inflammatory conditions such as chronic pain.
Dr. Julie Chan, ND is a vegan, plant-based Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist and she has been practicing for 12 years and she will be discussing about the health benefits of a vegan diet and address all the common myths about what we believe are healthy but in fact are causing us harm and how we can make simple changes to create better health. She will also talk about various diets and their issues and why a plant-based vegan diet is the most proven and beneficial diet for us. She will answer many common questions about dairy, calcium, protein, high or low fat diets and provide practical advice that people can leave with that can help them change their lifestyle and dietary patterns immediately.
